PYRIPROXYFEN 10% + BIFENTHRIN 10% EC
DESCRIPTION: Pyriproxyfen 10% + Bifenthrin 10% EC is a combination of an insect growth regulator and a pyrethroid. The combination product offers multi-action control of whitefly pest in cotton crop. It directly kills nymphal stages and inhibits reproductive capacity of adult pests due to the growth regulating activity of pyriproxyfen. Adding bifenthrin gives knock-down kill of adult whitefly, providing complete control at all stages and preventing further buildup of the pest.
MODE OF ACTION: Pyriproxyfen acts as an IGR (insect growth regulator) preventing young insects from maturing and reproducing. Bifenthrin affects the insect nervous system causing paralysis and provides quick knockdown by contact & stomach action.
