OXYGOLD (Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC) is a selective herbicide formulated to help control susceptible weeds in approved crops. It works primarily through contact activity and helps manage weeds when applied according to the approved product label.
MODE OF ACTION:
Oxyfluorfen belongs to the diphenyl ether group of herbicides. It inhibits the enzyme protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO), causing the formation of reactive compounds that damage cell membranes in susceptible weeds. This leads to tissue damage and weed death.
