FOLIOSYN (Metalaxyl-M 3.3% + Chlorothalonil 33.1% SC) is a combination fungicide formulated to help manage susceptible fungal diseases in crops. It combines systemic and contact activity to support effective crop protection when used according to the approved product label.
MODE OF ACTION: FOLIOSYN combines two active ingredients with different modes of action:
Metalaxyl-M 3.3%: A systemic fungicide that inhibits ribosomal RNA synthesis in susceptible oomycete pathogens, helping prevent their growth and development.
Chlorothalonil 33.1%: A contact, multi-site fungicide that disrupts essential fungal metabolic processes, helping protect treated plant surfaces against susceptible fungal pathogens.
